I said you can't go into bodies of water for at least two weeks after getting tattooed and I had a lot of people asking me about showering.โ  ยทโ  Please shower with your fresh tattoo! ๐Ÿ’– A shower is not a body of water. Bodies of water are things like baths, lakes, oceans, pools, anywhere you're going to have a bunch of water that sits. These are breeding grounds for bacteria and they're horrible for your tattoo. โ˜น๏ธโ  ยทโ  You know how your fingers get wrinkly, that same thing can happen to your tattoo and that will actually pull ink out of your skin.
